He Cannot be My EVERYTHING

We cannot, as a wife, expect our husband
to be what he was never called to be.

Our EVERYTHING.


Only God in Heaven can fill that void.
That need can only be met by HIM.
It isn't fair to put that kind of pressure on our husband.
He was never meant to live up to that standard.

We are not called to be his everything either.

But ~
We can be something.
Someone who walks faithfully alongside.
Someone who is there ~
For richer or for poorer,
For better or for worse,
In sickness and in health ~

Until death.


How?

Only by the grace of God.

HE is the ONE Who keeps ~
The ONE Who sustains.
We both belong to HIM.
Our all is found in HIM.

HE is our
EVERYTHING.
