Time Stands Still

Our Austin is outside of time.

For now, we live within it.
That means that Calvin, Fraser and Emma
will catch up to their big brother in age.
If the Lord allows, they will pass him.

In this way ~ Time stands still.

It's a strange thing, really.
I never thought I would live longer than any of our children.
I thought they would all outlive me.
However, that was not to be.

Our desire for each of our children is that they
would love and serve and follow the Lord all their days.
And that they would go to live with Him in Heaven for all eternity.
I never expected that any would be called Home first.

But, one has.
Our Austin has gone before us.

~ Calvin, Fraser, Austin, and Emma in 2004 ~

Our destiny is the same.
Not for anything good in us.
But, because of the goodness of our Saviour.
He is perfect.  He lived perfectly.
He died to pay the penalty for the sins of His people.
That each one might be made acceptable with God.
So that one day we might go live with Him for all eternity.

What an incredible thought!

May the peace that comes from these truths be yours.
May you know without any doubt where you will spend eternity.
If you are not sure where that will be,
Please seek the Lord while He may be found.

"...behold, now is the day of salvation."
~ I Corinthians 6:2b ~

"...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ,
and thou shalt be saved..."
~ Acts 16:31 ~

"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me;
and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."
~ John 6:37 ~

Only a Moment

A few Sundays ago, after the service, a precious friend
took time to talk and listen and encourage.
She said something that has been such a blessing to my heart.
"The days are long, but, the years are short."
It will only seem a moment before we are ushered into glory.
Life here is temporary.  Life there is permanent.

Helpful words?  Yes.  Comforting?  Absolutely.

Every elderly person I have ever spoken to
says the same thing ~ life flies by!
And, in the twinkling of an eye ~ eternity begins.
It happens this way for all of us.
The big questions, in light of this, are these ~

Where will we spend it?  Where will we go?  Are we ready?

It is not on our own merit that we are welcomed into Heaven.
It is all the Lord's.  All of it.  We depend on His works.  Not ours.
The Lord Jesus Christ's perfect life lived on our behalf.
The complete and perfect payment of the penalty
for the sin of His people.  He took our sins upon Himself,
in order that He could bestow His perfection on us.
The Lamb of God.  We must look to Him.  Trust in Him.
Surrender to Him ~ completely and utterly.

In His work alone is Salvation to be found.
It's the only way.  He is the only way.

What is He to you?  Is your peace found in Him?
Is He your all in all?  Do you trust Him with your never dying soul?
Settle with Him before the time He has granted you is gone.
Before we know it, it will be!
We all face the same reality.  Time is short.
We only have this moment ~ none other is guaranteed.

Flee to Christ while He may be found!

"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me;
and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."
~ John 6:37 ~

The best way to be found of Him is to read His Word.
Begin by reading Genesis, and then read the book of John.
His Word, the Bible, is True.  It's Powerful.
The words can only change us if the words are read.
We can only be changed by the power of the Living God.  By His Grace.
In light of this, please ask the Lord to open your eyes to see and
enlighten your heart to understand.  He is able.  He is merciful.
And, He graciously answers prayers like those.

The greatest thing in all of life is to belong to Him.
Be sure you are His and He is yours ~ nothing is more important.
Nothing.

Many Blessings,
Camille

Fortified

"...Lead me to the Rock that is higher than I."
~ Psalm 61:2b ~
We are finite.  HE is infinite.
We are fallible.  HE is infallible.
We need HIM.  Always.

Recently, we have sought to be a support to
friends who are grieving.
One friend lost her husband suddenly to cancer.
He was relatively young.  In his prime.  It's been a terrible loss.
One day he was fine.  The next he was seriously ill.
And, within three weeks he was taken.  Gone.

What a blessing to know that he knew the LORD.
He not only knew of HIM, he knew HIM in the only way that matters.
HE was his LORD.  His Saviour.  His Righteousness.
What a comfort these things are in times like these.

This precious widow, when asked, requests one thing ~
A verse.  Simply, a verse to reflect on.  A verse to cling to.

Lead me to the Rock!
In HIM alone is all comfort to be found.
From HIM alone, strength may be gleaned.
How we need fortification.
Help from on high.  Hope from His Word.
How we need HIM!

Really, her request is to be fortified.
To be continually directed to the One from Whom all things flow.
Fortified in the Living and True God of Heaven and Earth,
and the Truth found in His Word.
So that her feet will be firm upon the Rock, Christ Jesus.

Aren't we all like this?
Do we not all need HIM?
We have been created this way.
With this need.  This void that needs filling.
He alone satisfies.  He alone gives all that is required.
He alone gives the peace that passes all understanding.
How precious it is that He promises to give all we need.
Moment by moment.  Day after day.
And, so much more!!

Many Blessings,
Camille

On Being Real

On being real.

Being real with our children.
Facing up to our sin.
Owning it.  Confessing it.
Praying with them and asking them to pray for us.

They will.

It's a beautiful thing to walk this path with them.
Share our faith in the trenches with them.
Look to the LORD with them through
all the joys and sorrows of this life.

God is Faithful.  All the time.

He will never forsake us.
He will give the grace and strength needed.
He will forgive us when we fail.

Day by day.
Moment by moment.
Over and over and over again.

How precious HE is!

If you wonder where to begin.
How to begin?
Begin first with HIM!

Seek the LORD in prayer.
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God,
that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not;
and it shall be given him."
~ James 1:5 ~

Read His Word.
(Proverbs is a great book of wisdom).
Pray His Word.
Memorize His Word.
(I speak to myself here the most).

We must ask Him to forgive and mold and shape us.
He will.  By His Grace.  For His Glory.
Looking to Him each step of the journey
together with you!
He alone is worthy of all our praise.

With Love,
Camille

It's a Battle

It's a battle.
The battle for contentment.

Just when I think I have this one figured out,
something comes along to rock my boat.
Paul said ~ "I have learned,
in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content."
~ Philippians 4:11 ~

It is something that has to be worked at.
It has to be learned.
In fact, contentment cannot be
achieved in our own strength.

It's impossible.

Two verses later Paul states ~
"I can do all things through
Christ which strengthens me."
 ~ Philippians 4:13 ~

It doesn't come naturally.
Discontentment does.

But, the LORD promises to give grace.
HE promises to give strength.
We can do all HE calls us to in HIM!
What a blessing!

"Discontentment comes from elevating
the things of this world above the things of eternity."
~ Pastor Cam ~

If only we could (go, do, get, be)...fill in the blank ~
A holiday. A spouse. A new something or other.

Discontentment will not be remedied
by stuff or circumstances.
On vacation or in a new home,
our hearts go with us.
Nothing will bring lasting contentment.

Nothing, that is, except the LORD Jesus Christ.
How liberating and wonderful this truth is!

By God's Grace, if we are in Christ,
nothing will be able to shake our foundation.
Absolutely nothing!

HE is ALL!

With Love,
Camille

O God, Be Merciful to Me!

The words of this hymn brought tears to my eyes in
our morning worship service yesterday.
How Precious the LORD Jesus Christ is!
How Great is HIS Salvation!

"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me;
and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."
~ John 6:37 ~

~ O God, Be Merciful ~

With broken heart and contrite sigh,
A trembling sinner, Lord, I cry;
Thy pardoning grace is rich and free:
O God, be merciful to me.

I smite upon my troubled breast,
With deep and conscious guilt oppressed,
Christ and His cross my only plea:
O God, be merciful to me.

Far off I stand with tearful eyes,
Nor dare uplift them to the skies;
But Thou dost all my anguish see:
O God, be merciful to me.

Nor alms, nor deeds that I have done,
Can for a single sin atone;
To Calvary alone I flee:
O God, be merciful to me.

And when, redeemed from sin and hell,
With all the ransomed throng I dwell,
My raptured song shall ever be,
"God has been merciful to me."

Cornelius Elven ~ 1852

Many Blessings to you each one!

Truth Matters

Truth matters. It really does.

When the difficult things of life come across our path.
When the trying and heart-wrenching things happen.
Even in the times when all is well.
It makes all the difference to where we will
spend eternity ~ either in Heaven or Hell.
We must have our Theology firmly established.
Our moorings and footing must be firmly planted on the Rock.

The Solid Rock ~ Christ Jesus.

He alone is where all peace and lasting comfort are found.
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
~ John 14:6 ~

The LORD Jesus Christ.
Alone.

Not long ago,
we traversed through such a trial.
Rough waters.
And, for times such as these,
we are so thankful that we know our God is Sovereign.
To know that HE does all things well.
For our good and for HIS glory.
In the depth of our souls.

Always.

How precious is HIS Word!
How precious is HIS Truth!
How wonderful it is to have access to it in the Bible.
And to have the Holy Spirit to seal it to our hearts.

The Bible is so deep and rich and full.
It alone is where absolute and
incorruptible Truth may be found.
The teachings of wise men are fallible.
They are prone to error.
They may even be known to change their minds.

But, God's Word cannot change.
It is infallible. Inerrant.
Within its pages, by God's mercy and grace,
the One and Only Living God of Heaven and Earth
is revealed to us.
How Wonderful our Precious Saviour is!!
HE never leaves us. Never forsakes.

Always Faithful.

Are you searching?
Do you desire to know God?
Do you yearn for Truth in the deepest part of your being?
Flee to the LORD Jesus Christ.
Run to Him with your sin and your corruption.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
~ Romans 3:23 ~

He alone is able to make you right with God.
He alone is able to free you from your sin.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
~ 1 John 1:9 ~

Only after dealing with the problem of sin
are we able to find peace with God.
And because of the Lord Jesus Christ, and his perfect work,
we can confidently come.
"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me;
and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."
~ John 6:37 ~

Lasting peace. Eternal peace.
Comfort that only HE can give.
And rest. Rest for our souls.
In HIM.

May the Lord be found of you.
And may you know Him as He is meant to be known.
His ways are perfect. His ways are best. Always.
This I know because it's contained in His Word.

That's where Truth may be found.

"Then shall ye call upon me,
and ye shall go and pray unto me,
and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me,
and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
And I will be found of you, saith the LORD..."
~ Jeremiah 29:12-14a ~

If you are searching, simply ask the Lord to reveal
Himself to you as you read His Word.
Begin in the book of Genesis and read the first
three chapters ~ they show why we need a Saviour.
Then, skip to the New Testament, and read the book
of John to learn of all that the Lord Jesus Christ
did for His people while He was on the earth.

You may also click here for a simple explanation
of what it means to follow the LORD Jesus Christ.

is a wonderful little book that lays out the
Truths of God's Word in an easy to read fashion.
(Click on the book title to find used copies for purchase).
Be sure to measure everything you read against
the inspired Word of God ~
The Bible is the only book of its kind.
It is the only inspired word of the Living God.

I will be praying for you.

How Wonderful!

How wonderful it is that
we have a season set aside to
celebrate the birth of our
Precious Saviour.

How wonderful it is
that this is a time when the
world seems more open to
hearing about HIM.

What is this season all about?
The gifts?

Or...
The GIFT?

We have enjoyed
celebrating Advent
together most evenings in our home.
Oh, what a precious time this is!
Oh, how the TRUTH comes out and the
Saviour is exalted!

PRECIOUS!

We aim to keep Christmas time
as stress free as possible,
and we seek to focus on the REAL
reason for it all.

Yes, we do have a tree.
Yes, we do give gifts.
But, we strive to keep it simple.
We seek to continually direct our attention
to the LORD and focus on the reason
for which HE came!

It all leads us to the Cross.
The purpose for HIS incarnation.
Salvation.

HE did not stay in the manger.
HE grew into a man.
HE lived the perfect life that
we could never live.
HE died to pay the penalty for the
sins of HIS people.
HE rose again,
conquering death and Satan.
HE lives!

Are you one of HIS?
If not, there could not be a better time
to turn to HIM for Salvation.
Today is the day!
There may not be a tomorrow.

Above all else,
whatever you do in this life,
the MOST important of all is that you
make sure you belong to HIM!

THAT's what CHRISTmas is all about!

May the LORD
bless each and every one of you
this Christmas and
throughout the coming year.

I am taking a blogging break
for a few weeks.
I will look forward to catching
up with you all when I am
back online.

Merry Christmas!

In HIS Love,
Camille

Fixing Our Eyes

Fixing our eyes.

Not on ourselves.
Not on others.
Not on our Faith.
Not on our Faithfulness.

On the LORD.

HE alone is worthy.
HE alone is able.
HE alone is perfect.

We have nothing to fear.
Nothing to doubt.
Nothing to fret about.

How quickly our eyes lose focus.
How quickly our hearts grow cold.
How quickly we grow weary.

Yet, HE never loses HIS grip.

It is not about our hold on HIM.
It is all about HIS hold on us!
HE is always Faithful.
Even though we fail.

We must continually
remind ourselves to
look to HIM.
We must continually
fill our minds and hearts
with HIM.

We often respond like Peter did.
We only see the troubles.
The waves.
The storms of life.

But, the LORD is IN the storm.
HE has us in HIS perfect care.
We have nothing to fear
when HE is in control.

Look to HIM and live!

"Looking unto Jesus the author
and finisher of our faith;
Who for the joy that
was set before Him endured the cross,
despising the shame,
and is set down at the right hand
of the throne of God."
~ Hebrews 12:2 ~

Many Blessings to you each one!

Error...Beware!

A little over a year ago,
a childhood friend and I had a discussion regarding the
paths we have taken in our Spiritual lives.
We hadn't been in touch with one another for many years.
I had no idea what had transpired in the years we were apart.
I was grieved to discover that she had abandoned her faith.

Through that conversation, I was exposed to some
very disturbing heresies put forward as truth by this friend
who had "grown up" and was "trained up" in the church.
We had gone to Sunday School together as children.
Her "testimony" began where the
Bible Believing Christian's would remain ~
with the Lord.

After abandoning that "fairy tale"
(her words...not mine)
there was more enlightenment and
"truth" reportedly discovered.
Unfortunately, this story is not unique ~
many have fallen away from the Truth.

How does this happen?
Were they ever really saved?
Can a true believer of the Lord Jesus Christ
ever be snatched away by the Evil One?
According to God's Word,
the answer is an emphatic NO!

"My sheep hear my voice,
and I know them and they follow me:
And I give unto them eternal life;
and they shall never perish,
neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
My Father, which gave them me,
is greater than all:
and no man is able to pluck them out of
my Father's hand."
~ John 10:27-29 ~

We are all sheep.

Who or what are we following?

I am so thankful that my husband patiently walked
with me through this process and
directed me to portions of Scripture that
settled and calmed my soul.

What a blessing that God's Word is "quick and powerful"!
That word "quick" could also be translated living.
God's Word is Living ~
the only book in the Universe of it's kind!

The verses to follow are what my
Precious Saviour used to minister to my heart.

"But there were false prophets also among the people,
even as there shall be false teachers among you,
who privily shall bring in damnable heresies,
even denying the Lord that bought them,
and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
And many shalll follow their pernicious ways;
by reason of whom
the way of the truth shall be evil spoken of."
~ II Peter 2:1-2 ~

"While they promise them liberty,
they themselves are the
servants of corruption:
for of whom a man is overcome,
of the same is he brought in bondage.
For if after they have escaped the pollutions
of the world through the knowledge of the
Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,
they are again entangled therein, and overcome,
the latter end is worse with them
than the beginning.
For it had been better for them not to have
known the way of righteousness,
than, after they have known it,
to turn from the holy commandment
delivered unto them."
~ II Peter 2:19-21 ~

And, regarding the infallability of the Bible,
(which was another attack made),
the following verses were a comfort ~
They address the inspiration of both
the Old and New Testaments.

"That ye may be mindful of the words which
were spoken before by the holy prophets,
and the commandment of us the
apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
Knowing this first,
that there shall come in the last days scoffers,
walking after their own lusts."
~ II Peter 3:2-3 ~

And regarding the apparent "contradictions"
among the writings of Paul and even the Gospels,
the following verses were a comfort ~

"And account that the longsuffering of
our Lord is salvation;
even as our beloved brother Paul also
according to the wisdom given unto him
hath written unto you;
As also in all his epistles,
speaking of them of these things;
in which are some things hard to be understood,
which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest,
as they do also the other scriptures,
unto their own destruction
.
Ye, therefore, beloved,
seeing ye know these things before,
beware lest ye also,
being led away with the error of the wicked,
fall from your own steadfastness
."
~ II Peter 3:15-17 ~

**In all the Scripture quoted above,
the emphasis is mine.**

My husband began writing his blog as a direct result of these
charges brought forward against God's infallible Word.
He patiently and graciously worked through this knotty subject
with me and my precious childhood friend.
What a blessing!

Are you interested in reading more?
His posts are much more *in depth* and thorough
than my treatment of the subject here.

diligently laboured over.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to get to the first post

May the LORD guide you each one to
HIS perfect and infallible TRUTH.
And those of us that belong to HIM ~
May we boldly proclaim the LORD Jesus Christ
as the ONLY Way of Salvation
for this lost and dying world.

Many Blessings,
Camille

What to Do When Life Hurts

Does life sometimes seem thorny?
A little like this tree?

But,
if you look closely,
you will see a little bird
sitting in her nest ~ safe among the thorns.

Perhaps that is how it is for us?
When life seems to be at its *worst*,
could it be that it is then that we learn
how protected and loved we really are?

Our times are in HIS hands.
HE does all things for our good and HIS glory.
We are sheltered and safe under HIS wings.
In HIS shadow.
We have nothing to fear.

Do we REALLY believe this?

Is it only true when all is going well?
No sickness.
No sorrow.
No trials.

Is our foundation shaken when things don’t go well?
When there is sickness, sorrow and suffering?

Thorns?

Fear and worry choke out joy ~
Rob us of our peace.

How precious God’s Word is.
That is where we find TRUTH.

Not in our feelings.
Not in our experiences.

In HIM.

That is where truth and
trust and life are found.

Only in HIM.

I must fortify myself in HIS truth.

In HIM I rest.
In HIM I trust.
This HE calls me to.
This HE enables me to do.
By HIS grace alone.

HE is my EVERYTHING.
All is to be found in HIM.

If this is not your testimony,
I implore you to run to the Saviour today.
HE is the only One Who is able to set your heart right.
HE is the only Way.

"Jesus saith unto him,
I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me."
~ John 14:6 ~

In the same book of the Bible,
the Lord Jesus also spoke the following words ~
"All that the Father giveth me
shall come to me;
and him that cometh to me
I will in no wise cast out."
~ John 6:37 ~

Feel free to email me if you wish to discuss these things further,
or if you would like us to pray for you.
The LORD is good and gracious.
HE does all things well.
Yes, even when life hurts!

May all of you, kind friends,
know the peace that passes all understanding
as you put your faith in the only ONE worthy of it ~
The LORD Jesus Christ.

In His Love,
Camille

Something to Ponder

Now, this is an amazing verse to ponder.
A wonderful verse to comfort your soul.
A beautiful verse to rest in!
The LORD Jesus Christ spoke these words.

Have you come to HIM?
If you haven't and you do,
HE will be true to this verse.
The LORD always keeps HIS promises!

Many Blessings,
Camille

Whiter Than the Snow!

We had this season's first snow a few weeks ago.
I always enjoy the way the world looks with its fresh
blanket of white.

Everything seems hushed ~
P.E.A.C.E.F.U.L.

Everything is clean ~
B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L.

Is that what it's like when our soul is freshly
cleansed with the blood of the Lamb?
I think so.

Peace floods our hearts.
Beauty is in the world once again.
All is right.

~ Psalm 51:1-7 ~

"Have mercy upon me, O God,
according to thy lovingkindness:
according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies
blot out my transgressions.

Wash me throughly from mine iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin.

For I acknowledge my transgressions:
and my sin is ever before me.

Against thee, thee only,
have I sinned,
and done this evil in thy sight:
that thou mightest be justified when
thou speakest,
and be clear when thou judgest.

Behold, I was shapen in iniquity;
and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts:
and in the hidden part thou shalt
make me to know wisdom.

Purge me with hyssop,
and I shall be clean:
wash me, and I shall be
whiter than snow."

What a picture!
Whiter than the snow!
Oh that the LORD would indeed do this miracle
in each one of our hearts this Christmas-time!
HE is able to!

"Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me."
~ Psalm 51:10 ~

If this is your heart's cry,
please know that the LORD hears those who come
to HIM in repentance.

HE is able to save you from
eternal destruction.
Cry unto HIM today.

"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me;
and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."
~ John 6:37 ~

point the WAY to HIM.

wonderful time of the year!

Blessings to you each one!

All We Like Sheep...

Oh we heard the MOST wonderful sermon
a few Sundays ago!

I had been thinking on Psalm 23.
And the sermon was on Psalm 23!
Funny how that works sometimes. :)

How many sermons have you heard
preached on that Psalm?
I'm guessing...not many.

I hadn't.

It seems that it is so
COMMON.
But it is not!

The truths found within it are
WONDERFUL!
So rich and full and encouraging.

The pastor pointed out that
it is thought that Psalms 22, 23 and 24
were originally meant to be read together ~ as a unit.

Interesting.

Psalm 22 is the Psalm of the Cross.
Psalm 23 is the Psalm of the Crook (as in Shepherd's).
And Psalm 24 is the Psalm of the Crown.

Often, Psalm 23 is read as a death-Psalm,
but it really is full of life and living!
We ought to be encouraged as we take the time to
meditate and digest what is really there.

Is the Lord Jesus YOUR Shepherd?
Are you HIS sheep?

Personalize this Psalm if HE is and if you are.
Think about what a human shepherd will do for his sheep.
How much more precious it is that our Shepherd is
the ALL knowing, ALL seeing, ALL compassionate God!
We are in VERY good hands!

We are SECURE.

We will never fall away...
because HE KEEPS US!!

As you think on these familiar verses in this Psalm,
compare what you read to the verses in John 10:11-18
and John 10:26-29.

Oh how WONDERFUL!!

~ Psalm 23 ~

"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of
the LORD for ever."

Prayerfully consider these verses
as they pertain to you.
Do you belong to HIM?

I pray that you do.
If you do not, the Bible tells us ~

"For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life."
John 3:16

"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me;
and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."
John 6:37

HE will recieve you if you
come to Him in repentance and faith.

Trust HIM.

HE alone can save you from
eternal destruction,
set your feet on solid ground,
and give you an eternal hope!

May the LORD bless each of you this weekend,
kind friends, with HIS rich goodness ~
May HE lead you gently unto Himself.
In His Love,
Camille

Pray for Opportunities

**My Bible ~ opened to John 3:16**

Are you ever afraid to witness to someone?
Does approaching the subject seem daunting to you?
You are not alone.
Many people ~ myself included ~
want to share their faith,
but they are hindered by shyness, fear,
or simply not knowing where to begin.

BUT People NEED to know!

Many years ago as a single girl living at home
(working to save for college),
I was discouraged about the fact that I was working
with many ungodly people and yet had not been witnessing to them.
It was a daunting task as most of them were part of the
partying crowd which made me a tad bit nervous.
As I drove to work one particular day I recall praying
that the Lord would give me opportunities
to share the Gospel and my faith.

The Lord delights to answer this type of prayer!

A young man at work began to ask questions
about the Bible and thus began an ongoing conversation
about the things of God.
The Lord paved the way for a natural witnessing opportunity...
HE truly is a Wonderful Saviour!

I completed my work there not long after that,
and went away to college.
A few years later, I ran into that same young man in the
Christian bookstore, of all places!
Obviously, I expressed my amazement that he was in such a place
and he informed me that he had become a Christian!
What an exciting and encouraging day.

It seems that very often you will not find out
when you have been used of the Lord to draw someone to Himself.
Some of us are not the last link in the chain,
BUT we are very often links IN the chain!

Be encouraged, and know that it is all of the Lord.
HE will accomplish HIS perfect will ~
we are just called to be FAITHFUL.

Might you try praying the same type of prayer mentioned above
and watch the Lord work?
You will be amazed how the opportunities will naturally
come up to share the gospel ~
it really will not be difficult at all!

"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts:
and be ready always to give an answer to
every man that asketh you a reason of the hope
that is in you
with meekness and fear."

~ I Peter 3:15 ~

May the LORD give us each the
courage and strength to share the Good News
with this dying world!

Feel free to share a "witnessing" story with us all
in the comments of this post.
I am sure it will be a blessing to others to hear
what the LORD has done!

In Him,
Camille
